NOTD : ZOYA - CHERYL

 -|:Youtube :|: Facebook :|: Twitter :|: PrettyDNA :|: Vlog :|: FourSquare :|-

Hello everyone!

Usually I would go for brighter colors, but then there's this side of me that doesn't like to be like everyone else.  Since we're smack in the middle of summer, everyone seems to wear bright colors on their nails.
So, I decided to go for darker colors for a while.

Today I took on ZOYA's Cheryl. It's definitely more of a fall/winter color.  I love the deep brown color  which blends well with my skin tone.  It doesn't make my hands look 'older', which is always welcoming news for me. :)

Application wise, I would say it's okay.  It has small golden glitters in it so it's not as smooth as zoya's other solid cream colors.  However, since the glittery pieces are so tiny it doesn't leave that awkward rough feeling after it has dried.
One coat doesn't cut it - you'll have to apply at least two coats.
The best point of this color is that it's not a common color.
For the oddest reason, this color reminds me of year-end holidays (like Thanksgiving).

Do you guys wear bright colors for summer, or do you tend to deviate from the norm like me? :)

I like feeling a bit like the odd fish out of the bowl with small things like this!

  4. I was just wondering is the Hera hd foundation hard to blend? Because I just recently bought mine off G market, and it's so hard to blend..
It doesn't give me a natural finish at all because it's so hard to blend.. even when i tilt my hand it doesn't budge.. it stays in the same position.

Is this normal?? Is this the same situation with you too?
I bought it because you use it in most of your videos and you looked great! but so far it's not doing me too well...
please reply, I'd really like to know thank you!! :)

Ps- i write under this post as the relevant post was ages ago.. hehe
