Cassi is a pretty coral color, but it isn't as opaque as zoya says it is. I had to apply three thick coats and a top coat and still I could see through the polish.
It looks pretty glittery in pictures, but in real life it's hard to spot the shimmer. I guess it's a nice and girly color, but nothing really special. I was very impressed with another color from zoya (zara), but this nail polish doesn't impress me that much.
It's nice that it's vegan friendly and all the other stuff zoya claims it to be, but other than that the polish is average.
I had to pile up three coats, so the surface dents easily and the third finger is already pealing.

Color: 7/10 (nothing reaaaaaallllly special) - it's just a coral/pink, like a nail polish version of MAC's ever hip lipstick with shimmers in it
Application: 7/10
Intensity: 5/10 (pretty sheer compared to other opaque zoyas)

What do you guys think? I think I won't have a problem with using it every now and then, but I definitely wouldn't buy it again. Overall, my zoya experience so far is more of a thumbs down. They have really bad customer service (like worst ever), and the polishes don't really live up to the hype :/ Anyway, I have a lot more to review, so let's hope that the other colors don't disappoint so much.

  1. I don't own any polishes from that brand! I think the color is very pretty, but the fact that it's sheer really disappoints :(
Thank you for the great review!

  2. That sucks. I think Zoya polishes are wonderful. If you wanna try a darker nail, try Valerie by Zoya. If I had tried, I could have gotten an opaque layer by the first coat. I love Zoya formula, for me it applies like a dream. (:

  3. I actually own 6 different Zoya polishes & yeah, they're disappointing. 3 I bought from Ulta, but the other 3 I bought online & although I've only yet to try 4, had to slap on the color. 3 coats for sure! Also, agreed with the terrible service. Took a month for the polishes to arrive after contacting customer service via online chat.

  4. @Jean: no problem :D yeah.. sheer really sucks :/

@Valerie: haha, are you promoting Valerie because it's your name? ;) I actually have valerie and I do like the darker colors since they seem a bit more opaque than the lighter colors :p I'll try to put up a NOTD with Valerie soon

@esshoumaru10: I KNOW right?! I canceled an order and they charged my credit card for it even after the order had disappeared from my account and shipped out the items anyway. I e-mailed (no response), called (nobody picks up during operating hours) and I finally got to the chat part and they were like "no, we can't refund your money" even when I was going to send the unopened polishes back! All i wanted was a return shipping label so I can send it back and get my card credited back for something I had canceled a long time ago. And they were like "we don't have such policy" and ugh, I just had to eat the loses because they didn't want to refund my money nor send me a return label :/ - and it took over an hour to get that answer. Worst CS I've ever seen

  10. That color is gorgeous! ahh I wish I saw this before I made my purchase. I got Edyta, Lulu, and Barbie. So far I love em all but I kind of regret getting Lulu. It's so sheer, you can't really tell that it's a gorgeous shade. :(
